日本のアザミウマ

Apelaunothrips japonicus Okajima, 1979

和名:-

本州と九州から記録されており、今のところ日本固有種。東南アジアや中国(海南島、雲南)に分布するA. bicolor によく似るが、複眼がより大きいことで区別できる。森林の堆葉層に生息し、食菌性。

This species has been recorded from Honshu and Kyushu, and is currently endemic to Japan. It is very similar to A. bicolor from Southeast Asia and China (Hainan, Yunnan), but can be distinguished by its larger compound eyes. It inhabits forest litter. Fungus-feeder.
